Our Team
  • Clinical & Office Manager

April Shiery served in the United States Navy as a Hospital Corpsman, where she received training in many specialties, including podiatry, and was also awarded two Navy Achievement Medals. After her time in the military, she enrolled at the University of Texas, Austin where she majored in Biology and completed her Pre-Med classes. It was during this time that April met Dr. LaMour, and he asked her to come and run his practice.

April is very knowledgeable about wound care, and is especially passionate about helping diabetic patients heal wounds that threaten limb loss. She assists with all aspects of podiatry within the office, while ensuring smooth daily operations. April maintains high standards for care and customer service, and is proud to work with a staff who shares that philosophy.

  • Podiatry Tech

Dominga Juarez was considering a career in dentistry when she crossed paths with April Shiery and Dr. LaMour, who heralded the benefits of practicing podiatry. She agreed, and decided to pursue a career in feet and ankles—which is arguably about as far away from teeth as you can get! Three and a half years later, she’s still working with them and the rest of the staff. Dominga enjoys her co-workers immensely, as well as meeting new people and providing patients with the care they need for optimal health.

Outside the office, Dominga loves spending time with her husband and dogs, and watching movies or professional football at home. Before she joined Dr. LaMour’s office, Dominga worked in the food industry for many years, and she’s a true fan of Habitat for Humanity and Rainbow House Shelter in Corpus Christi. A native Texan, she has lived with her husband in Austin for 14 years.

  • Front Office/Podiatry Tech

Stacy Foreman had been a stay-at-home mom for a decade when she decided she wanted to get back into the work force part-time, but she had some requirements: she wanted to work in a low-stress environment where she was able to genuinely help people. She’d known Dr. LaMour for years as her son’s baseball coach, and thought he would be fun to work for and learn from. Turns out she was right.

Stacy has now been working for Dr. LaMour for three years. She’s delighted to be in a workplace where she gets to learn about the medical field while helping people, and the fact that she gets to do it with a staff that feels and functions like a family makes it even better.

An avid fan of her son’s baseball games, Stacy has admittedly never fully understood the game, but that doesn’t stop her from cheering him on in the stands. She has a lot of fun with her dog and goes camping whenever she can. A native Texan, she loves a good book, her family, and helping out regularly at the Texas Baptist Children’s Home.
