At his state-of-the-art offices on Shoal Creek Boulevard and Heatherwilde Boulevard, Dr. LaMour offers preventive and proactive solutions for patients of all ages, including treatment for fractures and sprains, plantar fasciitis, hammertoes, ingrown toenails, plantar warts and more. Dr. LaMour also has expertise in comprehensive diabetic foot care and custom orthotics. Under the direction of Dr. LaMour, the entire staff at Family Foot and Ankle is dedicated to providing individualized care based upon each patient’s unique needs. It is their goal to relieve painful and persistent symptoms allowing their patients to achieve greater mobility and enjoy better overall health. Dr. LaMour typically has a very conservative approach to most problems trying to avoid surgery. However, if surgery is necessary he is well qualified to perform the appropriate procedure. Dr. LaMour is affiliated with St. David’s North Austin Medical Center, St. David’s Surgical Specialty Hospital, Cedar Park Surgery Center and Oakwood Surgery Center.
Dr. LaMour grew up in the Midwest, earning his bachelor’s degree in biology from Illinois State University and his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the William Scholl School of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, followed by a two-year residency at the renowned Houston Podiatric Foundation. Board-certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, Dr. LaMour is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and he’s an active member of professional organizations, including the American Podiatric Medical Association, the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and the Texas Podiatric Medical Association.
Dr. LaMour was also a clinical instructor for The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio teaching surgery. When not caring for patients, Dr. LaMour enjoys outdoor activities with his wife and children and actively participates in community activities.
